Cask Notes

Secondary maturation is no shortcut to success. Matured in a refill bourbon barrel for over 9 years, we then filled into a 2nd fill bourbon barrel (previously used for to finish an exceptional Longmorn 2013). Less a finish, more a gradual layering of fresh fruit flavours, whilst preserving the more delicate Tullibardine top notes. 

Tasting Notes - Orchard fruit and sweet/nut.

Colour: Butterscotch gold.
Nose: Fresh pear, sherbet lemon and lush grass.
Palate: Crisp green apple, roast chestnut and kiwi fruit.
Finish: Fizzy citrus and orchard fruits dance on the tongue.

Tullibardine 2010 - 12 Years Old, I bought one, gave some away to friends then realised the bottle was empty, so I bought another two for me and i'm not sharing.
The whisky is exceptional hence the reason for going back for more, this may be because Longmorn is one of my favorite whiskies, and the Tullibardine was stored in an ex cask.
if I could justfify buying more bottles of this whisky I would.
