Nose: Astonishingly full, complex and vibrant. Dried figs and raisins, damson jam, polished leather, sandalwood, muscavado sugar. Floral notes, Brazil nuts, old wooden fruit boxes. Beautiful balance with water: buttery banana, brown sugar, more leather.
Palate: Dry: complex flavours, smooth texture. Cooling, with a salty, savoury edge. Next, a luscious, warming raisin sweetness. Grows deeper, with smooth oak, cocoa and balancing tart black cherry. Good with eater, if less complex.
Finiah: Medium length. Elegant, silky and rich tannins. Hints of fruit, nuts, savoury meats and scented cellar wood.

Colour: Barley gold
Nose: A subtle mix of tropical fruit and nuts, including papaya, guava and hazelnut. Gentle, peppery spice and a feint tobacco note reminiscent of a humidor.

Finish: Sweet and spicy, with ginger, nutmeg and black pepper.
